Msgr. John Seidenschwang Council was founded on the start of the new Columbian Year, July 1, 1996 through the efforts of the Charter Grand Knight Ed Bauer. It is named after Msgr. John Seidenschwang, pastor of St. Anne's from 1984 through 1994. Msgr. Seidenschwang Council works closely with St. Anne's Parish in Garden City, New York, providing funds for various projects, members being active participants in their parish. etc.
