Msgr. John Seidenschwang Council was founded on the start of the new Columbian Year, July 1, 1996 through the efforts of the Charter Grand Knight Ed Bauer.  It is named after Msgr. John Seidenschwang, pastor of St. Anne's from 1984 through 1994.  Msgr. Seidenschwang Council works closely with St. Anne's Parish in Garden City, New York, providing funds for various projects, members being active participants in their parish. etc.

Defensive Driving Course:
 
Msgr. John C. Seidenschwang Council at St Anne’s Church in Garden City is pleased to offer the community the Empire Safety Council’s Defensive Driving Course on a regular basis.  The next course will be held on a Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm in the cafeteria of St. Anne's School, 35 Dartmouth Street, Garden City.  We recommend that new drivers and teenagers also take this course, not only for the insurance discounts, but for their "SAFETY."

Upon completion of this course, Participants are eligible for 10% off their motor vehicle insurance for three years and/or a reduction of up to 4 points from their driver’s license.  The fee for the course is $45.00 per person and advance registration is required.  To register, bring the registration form to the rectory.  We would appreciate your confirmation no later than September 16, 2023 to notify Empire Safety.  For for more information, please contact Donald DePol at (516) 775-3097.
